Hi there,
It is Father’s Day week, and I keep thinking about my father.
His name was Joe D.
He worked hard. He provided. He believed in building something that lasted.
One of the things he built was a home in Ghana. Brick by brick, from across an ocean.
But he passed before he ever really got to live in it.
That fact has shaped me more than I knew. Because my father taught me to save. He taught me to build. He taught me to stand on my own two feet. But his life also taught me not to postpone all the living.
That is the heart of Tiny Steps to Riches.
Save, yes.
Build, yes.
Plan, yes.
But live while you are here.
This year, I’m taking my daughters to Ghana. His grandchildren. Children he never got to meet. They will stand on the soil he loved. And it feels like a tiny step and a full circle at the same time.
So no big money lesson today.
Just this question:
Who gave you belief, freedom, or the courage to stand on your own two feet?
Say their name today.
I’m glad you’re here. Blooming one tiny step at a time.
With deep gratitude,
Kuku 💛
